Quick Tip!
Label your Pyrex with a dry erase marker and make your meal in advance. When the timer is set and the oven pre-heated, wipe off and cook! No need to dig out that recipe you saw in a magazine a week ago!!!

A Night Out, In.
When it comes to food, one of my phliosophies is that everyone is deserving of restaurant quality food, even at home. Recently Dustin and I decided to share this philiosophy with a few close friends and I’d love to show you, course by course, just how we made it happen!

Cauliflower Pizza Crust. There. I said it.
Every now and then I quickly post the evening’s dinner on Facebook as sort of a teaser for the blog or as an announcement of a new fun ingredient. No status update has elicited a response of disgust like my post about making cauliflower pizza crust. Interestingly enough, more people have asked how the pizza turned out, than any other dish I’ve blogged about.
I’m about to show you how it turned out and encourage, nay, DARE you to try it yourself. If this blog was an Office Teamwork Motivational Seminar, this recipe would be the “trust fall” portion. Right now you are thinking I will just let you fall, but I wont! Just close your eyes, cross your arms and fall backward into a crispy, cheesy, soft mound of cauliflower nirvana.

Keep Your Friends Close, and Their Strawberry Rhubarb Pie Closer
I have decided to take a break this week in the kitchen and allow the spotlight to shine on a dear friend and fellow foodie. I have known Brandi for just about 10 years and we have been laughing together for just as long. On one of our latest trips to her home in Pittsburgh she honored us with one of her Strawberry Rhubarb Pies. Some folks are nervous about the addition of the latter ingredient, infiltrating the sugary sweetness of the strawberry, but I have good news for you nay-sayers. In 1947 New York State court ruled that rhubarb was used in the U.S. mainly as a fruit, so it shall be considered as such! That’s right, rhubarb is fruit. Feel better? I thought so!
